Question about makeup for my E-Pics?!?!

My E-Pics are Wednesday and I'm getting my hair done for them but now I'm contemplating getting my makeup done too although I honestly don't really have the money right now to spend on that. It's just that I'm thinking that my regular makeup regimen (mascara and clear lip gloss) might not be enough makeup for the pics and I definitely am not capable of doing any sort of other makeup actually 'nice'. I seriously can't do anything else than mascara and lipgloss to save my life (believe me I've tried ). So do you think I should spend the money on getting my makeup done so it's more emphasized and I don't end up making myself look like mimi...

....or is my regular makeup regimen enough?

This post just totally proves what a spaz I am with all things 'beauty' related

I say stick with your regular regimen, just add blush and voila! Trust me, you may not look like a clown when you get it done but when you see yourself in pics, you'll feel like one. Especially b/c you're normally so light on the make-up bit...

I agree. I didn't have mine done as I wanted to look like myself in our epics. I will be snazzy for our wedding pics. Our epics are very 'us' and that made me happy....

Also melissa-this depends alot on complexion-i have olive skin and can have dark circles under my eyes so in pics without make up i dont like how i look...Now i go out without make up alot and dont mind at all but in the pics i hate it...this may not be your problem though...I say do what you feel most comfortable with

Jess, both you and Denise came out gorgeous in your epics. Skin looks flawless and you have a nice emphasis on your eyes, plus your both very natural looking and that's exactly what I'd like. $30 sounds like a very reasonable price but I'm thinking that you went somewhere near queens for obvious reasons. But regardless do you mind me asking where you guys went?

Well the place i went to was $60 for airbrush and $30 for regular make up. I had said i wanted airbrush but another make up artist had taken the airbrush gun home with her bc think she had an event to do or something...so i went with the regular make up and i LOVED how she did it and it was $30.

i think $30 is very reasonable and you'll feel better that a professional did your make-up...you'll know you look good, and have more confidence posing, which will make your pics come out even nicer!!

JMO, that's how i would feel!

I think you should get it done if you can. Pics tend to wash you out...so you usually need to apply a ltitle more makeup than you normally wear. I was wearing a TON...it looked almost unnatural in real life...but you can barely see it in the pics. I was wearing a really dark grey eye shadow!

I hate to say it, buuuuttt....My friends sister got her makeup for her trials done for free at Bloomingdales in walt whitman mall...SHe went in and said was looking into trying new makeup and they did her makeup for free....hey worse case scenerio you don't like it there is always makeup remover and your own mascara
