We are going for our e-shoot with Patken next week. She told me they will take about 12 pics and then we will get an 8x8 portrait of our favorite pic. I just realized I didn't ask about the rest of the pics. Do we get those on a disc? Is that extra???

Re: Question about Patken e-shoot...
when we signed our contract, we asked for the DVD of the engagement pics and they wrote that into the contract. i would call and ask if you can have that added, or they may ask for an additional payment for them. we also got our 8x8 pic.

if you didn't ask the have everything in a desk prior to adding it to your contract typically they charge you like $100-$150 for a disk of them. I forgot!

yeah we didn't ask about it when we signed the contract and when we went for our epics the guy told us it was like 150 for the disk!! I was like um for 12 pics I'm not paying that, I don't understand why they cant just email it, it doesn't cost them anything, its digital pics!!

they are going to charge you for the pics on disk. absurd if you ask me!! you can negotiate them down though....i went bridezilla on them and got an off site shoot with pics on disc plus the complimentary free shoot in studio for a lot cheaper price than i should be being charged

Re: Question about Patken e-shoot...
I asked when I met with them and they said it was an extra charge to get them. I also wasn't thrilled they were only taking 12 pics when another photog I am considering spends a whole day with you and takes as many as he can and gives the CD at no cost. This is one reason I decided not to book them.
