Question about the dreaded 'S' word

If you got stretch marks, when did you get them? Most of the women I know that got them didn't get them until the very last weeks of pregnancy. I still don't have any but I'm constantly inspecting my belly for the first sign of one. I know I shouldn't stress it - if I'm going to get them there is just nothing I can do about it but I can't help it! So just tell me when I should expect them.

I think it all depends on, when you start growing, how much you grow, and how elastic your skin is. I started getting mine early on (around 19 weeks) and no matter how much cocoa butter I use, they just keep coming

I didnt get them until the last weeks as well. I've been slathering on Mustela 9 months 3 times a day, they seem to be fading, but not quick enough for me.

i thought I was in the clear, until they started to show up during the 8th month..

of course that was with Danielle, with Sofia, she just added to the maze of stretch marks...

I haven't gotten them so far...but I'm 8 months now...

I could still get them too...

I started getting them at the end of my 8th month. I thought I was in the clear and then a little one appeared right by my navel and then over the next few weeks spread like wildfire. They have definately faded a lot, but are still very noticable. Oh well.

I was pissed!!! I didn't get ant the whole pregnancy then I ended up being 2 weeks late and I got stretch marks in my 41st week!!!!!!! I cried I was so upset. But they have faded alot Thank God!!! But talk about mad!!
