Question about tipping DJ
I just finished confirming everything with my DJ for Saturday & right before we hung up he mentioned that our total (which we paid) does not include gratuity. No where on the contract does it say a specific agreed amount for gratuity. He told me that they usually recommend 15%. That's over $150. I wasn't planning on tipping that much. Am I wrong? Is that standard? TIA!

Re: Question about tipping DJ
I think we just have a DJ & an assistant. We're not having an MC.

Re: Question about tipping DJ
We had 5 people working our wedding. (DJ, MC, Percussionist, and 2 light technicians). We tipped $50 a piece.
