Question about veil for 'off-white' dress...
So I have a San Patrick and the color is 'off-white' (pic of my dress in album)My question is: What color veil would I get with this? I found this on a website explaining the color differences and I am torn between getting a Diamond White veil or an Ivory veil - but based on this explanation I was thinking Diamond White.
TIA!!
White
Matches white wedding gowns.
Diamond White
Diamond white is just barely off white. In fact, when looking at a diamond white veil alone it looks white – only when put up against a white veil can you tell the diamond white is actually just “off white”. Diamond white goes best with 'natural' or slightly off-white gowns.
Ivory
Ivory veils go best with 'candlelight', 'off-white', or 'ivory' gowns.
Tip
Every gown manufacturer is different when it comes to their colors. Sometimes it is hard to exactly match ivory and off-white wedding gowns. If there is any color variation between the dress and your veil -- you always want the veil to be a shade lighter (versus a shade darker) than your dress.

Re: Question about veil for 'off-white' dress...
I had that question too and I ordered wrong one, haha. So the ivory is a real cream towards almost yellow color. Diamond white is just a shade off a bright white. My dress is vintage style, so its not a real white so I thought ivory but I needed diamond white in the end, i exchanged it luckily. Hope that helps

Re: Question about veil for 'off-white' dress...
I have an ivory dress (color is alabaster, it's a Maggie dress). When I went in to select my veil while trying on my dress, the sales lady showed me both ivory and diamond white. She had me try on the diamond white veil first, and it looked nice. Then she came to me with the ivory one, and to be honest, it looked dingy, almost like it was discolored. She admitted later that the ivory is kinda dirty looking, but wanted me to make the ultimate decision.Definitely go with diamond white.
