She had her sister ands niece host it, she got me a tank top that says mrs Clancy and our luggage set ;) I'm going to read your response now..

My FMIL gave us our HM trip to Paris, first class and staying at a 5 star hotel.
That was their gift for bridal shower and wedding.

FMIL contributed to the tip of the waiters, bought us all of our bedding including throw pillows, and bought me a coach bag..... she's overly generous.

FMiL offered to pay for 1/3 of the Shower to my mom after she backtracked out of hosting it
She gave us our two serving plates that fo with our everyday china and some basic lingerie/ sleepwear....she probably dropped about $150-$200 on gifts
They also gave us $7500 towards the wedding and hosted the after party

I've been having continous issues with fils, particularly FH's dad and stepmom. His mom bought us half of our Waterford crystal (very expensive) wineglasses for my shower. His dad was supposed to buy us the other half but he backed out after his wife ripped him a new one. So they bought a couple of other things from our registry and we think they may have bought them for the wedding but I'm kind of doubting it.
Neither his mom or dad have offered any $ towards the shower or wedding. They have offered to pay for the RD but FI and I keep running into issues with them and quite frankly, I don't have the time or energy for that kind of bs. I'm at the point and have been for some time, where I don't want anything from them. Between my parents and FI, we've got it covered. I don't want their $ or stupid comments that I've already been getting regardless.

My fmil bought us our sandals grande Antigua honeymoon. She also bought my veil and a $700 luggage set for my shower. We also just renovated our house and she bought fh and I all of our kitchen appliances. I'm very happy with fmil but I understand not everyone is in that situation.

My FMIL didn't even RESPOND to the invitation to my shower.
She didn't send a gift.
My FSIL did say yes to the shower (she's a bridesmaid) and then didn't show up.
Also didn't send a gift.
Actually not one person from FH's side came to my shower.
FMIL and FSIL didn't contribute one sent- one card- one well wish.
(and I still put together with their parents on our invites although his family couldn't be any less involved.)

I didn't have a shower so no gifts for me. I didn't do a RD so no help there and for the wedding, she just gave a check to cover herself and a little over....
