Growing up the house had to be clean, it is still in me, we cleaned the entire how, and changed curtains and sheets, I guess going in to the New Year on a clean slate. Who knows. I am not supersticious at all tho'

Hi Diane, No, Patrick was off last night! It was only the second New Year's Eve kiss we've had in 8 years together. It was GREAT!

I soooooo believe in that saying!!!! I truly believe what you're doing on New Year's Eve and with who, sets the tone for the next year. (Which might be bad this year, b/c FI & I were in Mohegan Sun and between us lost about $500 ). However, we do spend it with our best friends, which I think is the most important part!!

I've actually never heard of that saying. But, now that I have - I don't think I believe in it.

My husband is in the Air Force, I can't believe stuff like that. But for the past 3 years he has been home we have had a great ritual
