QUESTION FOR ALL

If you are getting married in a church or for after your 'ceremony', are you throwing rice or petals or doing bubbles...

I want to get an idea what winter brides are doing...is it weird to have petals thrown at you in the cold lol

most places dont let u do rice anymore and more and more places dont want you doing petals cause they think people can slip on them....

also........rose petals if they get wet god forbid there is rain may stain your dress, as well as the rug (if there is one ) in the church) and stick to people shoes.

Bubbles...some bubbles can also stain dyed dresses and shoes!! so be careful!

Through the experience of others I've learned:
HELL NO on the bubbles...they are messy, sticky and stain dresses (I mean girls, they're white dresses! LOL ) They have other bubbles that get stuck like glue on clothes as well.

I want to do rose petals because I think they look great in pics (especially when the photographer does the color splash). I never thought about them staining because it's not like the guests are going to smush them in their hands before throwing them.

As for rice, if the petals don't work I'll go with tradition and use rice...lol

We are doing rose petals. My friend just did that at her wedding and she got the most BEAUTIFUL pictures of he and he new husband walking out of the curch with rose petals falling all around them. It was so pretty!!

I think it could work any time. It could be windy any time of year. All you see in the picture is the petals falling. I'm looking at the ads on the right side of my screen and there is one for Thomas Paul Photography and it is showing a picture like that. I don't know if it is on everyone's but it is so funny how i was just writing about her photo and the ad has a photo of a bride and groom walking out with petals (i think they are petals)
