question for anyone living with their FH / DH

So my BIL just posted on his facebook:

'I Hope Amy (his wife) feels better so I don't have to sleep on the couch anymore. Feel better honey!'

This confuses me .... when you or your DH are sick, does the other person sleep on the sofa?

DH and I sleep in the same bed regardless of our health

ETA: he just deleted it and re-wrote it without the part about the sofa ... i guess someone else pointed out that it was a bit weird

It depends what is happening in our lives. I was sick 2 weeks before the wedding so DH slept on the sofa until I was feeling better. 2 weeks ago DH was sick and HE slept on the couch (he's doing not mine, I offered to sleep there) so he didn't wake me bc I was going to work but he wasn't. PLUS, he didn't want me to get sick and then give it back to him since he has a the BIGGEST test of his career this weekend.

But there are plenty of times we shared a bed. Like I said, it depends on what's going on in our lives.
