Question for Brides who used Verdi photography

Did you feel like your candids were real candids? Or did you feel like they posed you? I know that sounds really strange, but my fi and I are having a disagreement about Verdi's work. He thinks many of their photos look contrived. We are big fans of the photojournalistic style and want to make sure that's what we get. So I would love to hear how the Verdi brides felt about their day and their proofs. Thanks!

Im not a Verdi bride but I just wanted to weigh in. Their photos are absolutely beautiful !! But based on the work they post on their site - its not really photojournalism. Lots of photographers do something I have deemed 'psuedo' photojournalism and it seems to be really popular. Im only guessing but I think they may do this because true photojournalism can sometimes be messy and imperfect so brides may not like that as much. But Im just making this estimation based on the photos they put on their website - maybe they don't put the true photojournalism stuff on there.

But I'd love to see your photos - which couple are you on the site?

I tend to agree with Stef on this. Their photos are beautiful but not true photojournalism.
