question for ladies getting married on a holiday or holiday weekend...w/POLL Please vote you dont have to post a message lol

How long in advance did you send out invites?
I am getting married memorial day weekend i have all the invites stamped and ready to go....i was gonna send the out of state/country invites tomorrow and the rest March 1st. I want to give everyone ample time to make travel plans.....also my family are a bunch of procrstinators....i thoguht maybe ill get them out as early as i can hoping to get the RSVPs back on time. It will be 3 months until the wedding on the 24th ( exactly a week from today) would it be ok to just sent them all out tomorrow?? even the local ones? or should i wait till next week? I think at this point i just want them out of my hands, 1 less thing to worry about.

I'm getting married the day after you, but we're sending out inites around the 7th or 8th of March. We sent out save the dates over a year ago though.

i sent mine out exactly 2 months in advance which only gives people a month to RSVP. However....that was not by choice, it was b/c my invites were EXTREMELY late coming in! I dont think it could hurt to send them all out now. I definately dont think it;s too early

well heres my other problem lol.........i dont have FH guest list yet so the invites will be going out to my famly only until next week lol i think i am just being crazy and want them to go out....but i am also worried about getting the RSVPs back...i made the RSVP date april 18th and i KNOW my family is gonna be PITA and wait till the last minute or after the rsvp date to send them back! 1/2 my family didnt even RSVP to my E-party...lol i think i am just so excited right noew i waana put a BIG CHECK on my list!!! lol

we are getting married on the friday of columbus day weekend, not that its a HUGE holiday, but people do take small vacations that weekend. For this reason, we sent STDs about 10 months in advance so I dont think I feel the push to send out invites more than 8-9 weeks before

yeah we sent out STDs too but i have alrady had people call the house and talk to my mom and forgot i was getting married so apparently they didnt save the date lol

We're sending the invites the second week of March. I sent a Save-the-Date card 8 months ago which linked to our website so they are all pretty up to date. Plus, my OOT guests already booked their rooms in our hotel.

I just polled about this...and i was veryyyyyyy surprised with some answers....some ppl who are getting married in august are sending them out in like march!...

SInce we are getting married the same day this is nice to know!!!! I wasnt going to send them out until the 1st weekned in march...its like your either going or your not going..i dont know why ppl need such a long time to decide!!
