My Mom really wants to throw me a shower, which is great, I can't wait! But....FH & I have lived together already for 2 years, and have pretty much everything we need....
What are you ladies doing? Upgrading stuff you already have?
And how many of you are NOT registering for china? I'm very contemplative about the china....

i dont think im registering for china... maybe causal china.. really we want to replace out pots and pans and would rather people spend money on them.
def want to upgrade some things.. FH and i have lives together for 7 years so some of our stuff is from our first apartment

We are going to upgrade most of our stuff, not going to register for china .. I can't wait to register for a margarita maker!!!!

We're going to register for some random 'fun stuff' that we want.. like a margarita mixer, cappucino maker, etc. I love to cook so we'll prob register for some specialty cooking items as well. It's difficult though bc we don't need the usual stuff.

FH and I have lived together for 2 years also. We are going to upgrade some stuff. And as for the china FH and I made a deal that I won't register for it now cause we don't have our own place and he would buy me my china when we bought our own place. I though that was nice of him.

I am not getting China. To me it's a waste. I'll never use it! And we live together but I still need luggage and really nice kitchen stuff so I don't think I'll have problem picking the gifts I want. hahahaha.

we are basically upgrading things. we have lived together for 3 years, a lot of stuff was hand me downs and some stuff was bought but it was cheap and just helped us to get buy
we are also thinking about a honeymoon fund...not too sure...might be a possibility

We have lived together for a year and a half now - We are upgrading all of our stuff, we have tons of hand me downs - I dont think we have a full set of anything except our everyday dishes (big lots clearance! they are gorgeous!) - but we are even upgrading those - I want to start fresh with everything.. and we are not registering for fine china - everyone that I have spoken to about it has used it maybe 2 or 3 times at most. I think its a waste of money on me - I would definitely never use it ...

We are upgrading alot of stuff that is getting old. When we first bought our house we got alot of used stuff from my mom so now i want all new pretty cookware, etc...
i dont think we are going to register for China, we have no place to put it but I am not sure yet.

We've been living together for about a year now. I'm basically registering for some things that i need but never got myself. I'm registering for new bedding, curtains etc. and also some upgraded stuff ex. We have three cats now and my vaccuum can't handle it so i put a better one on my registry. As far a china, personally i think it's awaste. I don't have the room for it and i don't have thses fancy holiday dinners at my place i think it's a waste of money. I'd rather get something i'll use daily rather then plates that are just going to sit there!
