Re: Question for MARRIED ladies:
Well, the doors were closed as the FG and RB went down the aisle. They actually closed the doors after everyone in the BP started down. So I'm standing at these double doors and my bridal attendant was fluffing me. I thought wow, she's doing a really good job fluffing me, this is cool. Then as the door opened, I thought okay, gotta start on the LEFT foot, cause that is what my dad and I decided at the rehearsal. The best was walking down the aisle though. I thought the flowers were beautiful, but I was sure they weren't mine. So my conversation down the aisle with my dad was (through a huge smile of course):
me-those aren't my flowers. where are my flowers? dad- shhhhhh. be quiet me-but those aren't my flowers. where are mine? dad- be quiet! me-oh, here's where we are supposed to stop.
So really I didn't get choked up at all during my ceremony because I was quite distracted

Re: Question for MARRIED ladies:
honestly... I was thinking...'don't trip' DHs church has the 3rd or 4th longest aisle in NY & it was a little intimidating. Once I got close enough to actually see DH I remember saying 'yay'. My mom heard & giggled...it was pretty cool
This picture was taken with only about 1/3rd of the walk left to go...just to give you an idea of how long the aisle was

Re: Question for MARRIED ladies:
I am trying so hard to remember, but I can't. My mind was flooded with stuff, I don't even remember seeing or looking at my DH as I am walking down.
I do remember one thing. As I came out of the doors and began to walk down the aisle I was tripping over my dress. I remember saying over and over in my head, 'just smile and laugh it off.'

Re: Question for MARRIED ladies:
My 2nd FG went down right before my dad and I (The 2 girls were supposed to go together, but they told me that wanted to do it alone---I was shocked because they are both very shy and not very people friendly, plus the walk down the aisle was a long one) So she starts going all by herself and stops suddenly and I am watching her through the doors and thinking 'Oh No she is going to run the other way, she is going to run the other way!!' But to my surprise she stopped so she could pick up the side of her dress and walked the entire way all alone with a giant smile (she's only 3)
I started to cry because I was so proud of her and I said to my dad 'Okay Dad if Sam can do it so can I!' The doors opened and I remember thinking holy cow I know all of these people and they are all here for us!
Its the best feeling EVER!!! Cherish every second of it!
Here's a picture of my FG to give you more of an idea!
that and don't burp during your vows and please God, don't let me come down with the hiccups. ( i have chronic hiccups that last for 20 minutes or more)

Re: Question for MARRIED ladies:
i was so nervous, but the thing that calmed me down was thinking that in a few days i would be in aruba lying on a beach somewhere. then i was calm.

Re: Question for MARRIED ladies:
I was very calm and collected, then my MOH turned around and told me the church was 'standing room only' in my teeny church.
I got very excited/butterlies/nervous
I must say though, I cannot remember thinking anything specifically, but how much I loved the sound of Cannon in D when my BP was walking down the aisle.....

Re: Question for MARRIED ladies:
I was very anxious, I just wanted to get down there! People told me I was walking so fast! I do remember getting annoyed that everyone was in the aisle taking pics & I couldn't see DH. I was saying to mysef-Hey A-HOLES I need you to get the EFF out of the way!!

My dad broke down at the very end when he had to kiss me and give me away....I could feel him shaking, then I lost it.
In my video you can see Dad biting his lip trying not to cry on te walk down.....I cried so hard just watching that.
You will remember so much more when you watch your video......

Re: Question for MARRIED ladies:
I was just concentrating on getting there. I teared up when I got to where my friend Kristen was, and I saw she was crying, I had to hold it in. Then I decided not to make eye contact with anyone til DH.

Re: Question for MARRIED ladies:
Honestly... my mind was a blank!!!
Well, not entirely, the only thing on my mind was how incredible it was seeing DH watch me come down the aisle. I totally forgot my parents were walking me down the aisle and I totally forgot there were 300 people watching me. My mind was totally fixated on DH.
