Question for those with Homestead.com websites...

Stupid question, but do all the photos have to be scanned into the computer? I`m trying to set up my own page, but I don`t have a scanner! Plus, what other info did you add to your site (registry links, etc)?

Question for those with Homestead.com websites...

The pictures have to be scanned in or loaded from a digital camera. If you dont have a scanner I believe you can have kinkos do it for you. Im not even close to done with mine but you can take a look at www.lukeandstefanie.homestead.com When its all done I plan on having info and links to our ceremony and reception sites, our vendors, our registry, the neighborhood in Brooklyn where we live and are getting hitched and of course lots of pictures!!

Homestead.com websites...Its fun to put together ..

I scanned out personal pictures into the site, and all others I imported from the web. As far as what I included on the site--links to all of my vendors' sites, links to our bridal registries, honeymoon info, pictures of our new house, etc. I'm waiting to get some bridal shower pictures together so I can scan them in also. The site is an ever-changing thing. I've been updating it as we've made plans and am planning on changing it all around after the wedding to be more of a recap of the planning and the big day. www.jennifermatthew.homestead.com

Question...Homestead.com websites...

I am in the process of building our Wedding website but I cannot figure out how to create links on the left side of the home page to take you to the different topics such as Our Engagement, Our Bridal Party, etc... If this makes sense or if anyone knows what I`m talking about, please help!! Also, any other tips are greatly appreciated!

Look for the link icon on the element toolbar. It will bring up a window with an input filed for your link's address Hope this helps

SonicStef & Jenn Z -

How were you able to import all of those images? The wedding cake, the wedding rings, etc? I`m sorry - this is all new to me!

I dont believe there are any wedding ring or cake pic on my site but there is a 'import photo' option. Once the photo is imported onto your homestead account you can choose from it in a file list. I believe it comes with some clip art and photos already loaded (one of which may be a cake and rings)

Terri

The wedding ring and cake pictures on my site were part of the homestead clip art selections.
