In your experience, did you have to put down cash or check deposits for DJ, flowers, Photo? Were you allowed to use a credit card at all?

im paying cash b/c they are giving me a good deal...but we have contracts and receipts to cover us just in case god forbid something happens.

We've used both so far, although I believe when we used the cards they charged us tax, so most of them suggested using cash...

Thanks girls.
Stressing out since FH's parents only want to contribute via CC and I had no clue if vendors accept it. My RH only accepts first deposit with CC, and nothing else.

All forms of payments were accepted by our vendors so far but we have chosen to pay in cash for everything!!!!

we were able to use CC - some vendors said only the initial payment could be done like that but others didnt say anything.

We used debit, but every vendor told us credit was acceptable for the deposit. Most of them will only take cash/check for the final payment. HTH!

All my vendors accepted credit card except for one. If we were getting good deals we had to pay cash so not to have it taxed.
