Re: question here

We registered in August but I am still adding on to it

ETA: I did change my mind on stuff too so I wouldn't register too early. I think I registered a little too early

Re: question here

As long as you do it before the Shower invitations go out you are fine...we just finished doing it right now...we started in Dec. and a few things were bought around xmas time (sales!) and I know my grandma bought something b/c she wanted to get something good....but we just finished it about a week ago, and it's fine

Re: question here

We did it in the beginning of December so our family could get us some stuff off the registry for Christmas.

Re: question here

Just make sure you are registered before the invitations go out. I registered 2-3 months in advance, and nobody bought anything until the invitations went out.

Unless you are having an engagement party, or you like to change your mind a lot, 9 months in advance is probably overkill. If I registered that far in advance, I would have been adding and removing items, and driving myself crazy with it.

Just start thinking about what kinds of items you would like to have, and how many people will be there and prioritize. Once you register, you have no control over who buys what, and you may not get the stuff that's most important if you add too much.
