After the wedding, who is going to be in charge of the finances. Will your fh take over everything? Are you the one who knows what they are doing with money? Or are you going to try and both take care of it?
My fh will be taking over and I can't wait. He is sooo good with money and finances and I am so bad. I can't wait till he starts paying my bills and I don't have to.

hmm good question: ill probably be handling it more then him bc im better at saving but im sure we will still have certain bills in our own names that we will take care of on our own still

Not sure..... we are both very independent financially . After we moved in together we havent even changed anything really. I think after we are married we will combine everything and I guess Fh will be in charge..although I will oversee b/c i like to have control lol

we'll probably keep everything the same as now - we have seperate checking account and handle all of our own bills......as far as the shared bills FH pays the big bills like the rent, car, car insurance and I pay the smaller bills like the cable, phone, electric, groceries, etc.

Meee...I'm good at math and love budgeting on Excel, but math makes FH want to cry. I'm already taking care of the bills for both of us, so it will just remain that way.

FH will take care of it..hes GREAT with money and I just suck at it..which is why i'm in debt lol He pays his bills, plus the household bills now and i pay my own bills. Once we're officially married, it will probably stay that way

I am not to sure, we are both on top of things, fh likes doing everything on the computer, and I like to keep everything on paper... in the end I bet I will be in charge!

I def. believe in equal power over financial responsibilities. FH earns more than me, however we are equally dividing all responsibilities that have to do with our living style. While I was growing up I watched my dad take care of everything, but then when he became ill...my mom didn't know where to start or how to budget. I took a lesson from that!
