When you girls have gone for a makeup trial, did you bring pictures or just let the makeup artist work her magic?
Also how much did you tip her?

Re: Question regarding Makeup trial
I did not bring pictures for my makeup trials. I did tell the m/u artist my likes and dislikes, though, before she got started.

Re: Question regarding Makeup trial
I didn't bring any pics for the first trial, I let her go nuts. I'll bring pics next time because there are a few things I want changed.

Gloria, you know my answer
I did bring photos. Actually, I emailed before the trial so that she would have an idea of what I liked.
I tipped her at the end- nothing big. The cost was $45 and I tipped her $5....I'm booking her so I figure it's fine? I didn't know what to do so I figure a small tip was better than nothing.

Same here and I tipped her $25 for both my sister and I. The trials were $60 each so I just did a 20% tip.

The first trial I brought a flash drive with saved pics, not that it made a difference because I didn't end up looking like anything I showed. It was a free trial, so I tipped 20.
The second trial I showed a pic, and since it was a very expensive trial where the fee went right to the artist, I didn't give a tip.

Re: Question regarding Makeup trial..edited
I brought a few pics, but since I looked nothing like any of the models I don't know how much it helped.
I gave a $20 tip.
