Hey ladies.... I am sure I am driving you all crazy with my questions about my dress.
My dress has a corset back and right now there is no panel and my skin shows. I was thinking of putting a panel there b/c I have seen other girls dresses and I think it looks more elegant. Can you please give me your opinion if you like it or not. When I called the bridal salon the other day, I mentioned this to them and they told me I would have to make my decision now if I want to add it or not b/c the dress has been ordered and is in the process of being made. I am also debating on having a wrap made for the dress b/c I am always cold and the end of Sept. can go either way.
Please give me your opinion if you think I should add a panel by the corset area.
Thanks in advance.
Here is a pic of the back of my dress.

Re: Question regarding my dress...(again!!)
I think it really depends, if you are going to wear a bra then you need ot add the panel. I like the way the panel looks to, I think it gives it a clean line. I would put the panel in no matter waht, but I dont think it looks bad without it

I think it's pretty without the panel. I don't think it's too much skin.

Personally, I think the modesty piece (the panel) looks nicer in pictures... it's a must if you plan to wear a bra, too!

Re: Question regarding my dress...(again!!)
Get a panel. Looks more elegant--it's a wedding gown, not a bathing suit or even an evening gown. And definitely get a wrap. My sister was married on September 16th, and it was rainy and cold that day. I'm getting married on June 3, but I'm going to have a wrap of some kind. I'm always cold too, I'm getting married in the morning, and you never know about early June. Much better safe than sorry. It's your wedding, you want to look beautiful--you won't look beautiful with some old cardigan on top! Speaking of cardigans, though, White and Warren have beautiful cashemere options for brides and attendants, both this pretty little sweater, and gorgeous wraps. They're a little pricey, but W&W is wonderful cashmere, and you can use it for years afterward, and think about your wedding every time you put it on. You could always embellish them too, if you're good with crafts, or have a friend or relative do it. I went to M&J Trimming on 6th Avenue in Manhattan yesterday, and they have amazing stuff--trims, gorgeous ribbons, beaded appliques. Lovely on a sweater or wrap.

Also they have some wraps for your attendants on a great sale (bright colors, though)
Trish your dress is stunning! I agree with you about the panel. I think it is more classic looking and if you are wearing a bra it would cover it up. I say get the panel. Beautiful!!

Re: Question regarding my dress...(again!!)
Thank you ladies for all your input. Thank you Pencils for all the info regarding that store. I had no idea that website even existed!!
I called up my bridal salon tonight and they told me b/c they ordered the dress a size larger, the gap should not be there which I am NOT happy about. I mean, I like the gap I just wanted to insert the panel. I am going there next weekend to discuss this further with them as I am not happy about this and I am paying like $1300 so I think the dress should be done the way I want it.
Anyway, thanks again!!

I will say, if you get a panel, it's usually added with snaps, so even if you change your mind, all you have to do it pull it off.
I don't know if a panel is necessary in your case.... it's not a wide corset back at all!

I vote for the panel because I think it looks neater. If you didn't get it will still look nice. You are a thin girl and I wouldn't worry about skin showing. The opening isn't that big anyway. I think the panel makes it look finished--JMO! I think you are going to be really hot. Dresses are heavy. I don't think you will need the shawl.
