I always wonder that too!! Thanks for posting it. I love when i book a vendor and i plug it in. Why do people only share some vendors, and not others. Or your name?
I think people may do that so that they don't get harassed by vendors/telemarketers. I did it because I'm already married and have another screenname from when I was planning that I forgot the password for. Also, some people are weird about posting their personal info online for various reasons. My old fashioned mom bugged out on me for having a wedding website bc she said the entire public now knew when I'd be out of my house, leaving a perfect opportunity for robbery. People just don't trust the internet. I do and that's probably why my inbox was flooded with viruses this morning!
I sooo totally agree, especially brides who have already had their weddings, the reviews are soo important, because it gives you an opinion of someone who has already used the services... I wish more people would be more open..
I could be wrong, but I think that there may have been some negative posts regarding certain vendors. With this came some hurt feelings (understandably so) from brides who actually booked these vendors. So maybe they chose to erase their choices so as not to spark up those negative posts again?! I'm really not sure, but I love reading about everyones choices. It's an exciting time for all of us. If we all chose the same vendors, then it would be boring. I enjoy hearing about what made people choose their vendors.

Too be truthful I was once tracked down by a vendor. I am very careful about what i post becuase of this. The person who did this no longer works for the vendor, but I will never forget how upset Fh and I were when this happened. I felt like I was being stalked. JMO

Come to think of it, vendors are calling my house an awful lot now that I'm planning my wedding. I'm on a no call list. I don't know HOW they got my number though. My phone number isn't listed on my LIWeddings account information. Where do you think they got it from??? I have to screen my calls all the time now.
This was a pet peeve of mine also till I had an 'incident' and removed it all.......
To be honest, I've never gotten ANY unsolicited calls since I joined LIW.
