Question regarding take out boxes for VH - please help.

I am providing take-out boxes for my guests for the Viennese hour but I don't know what size to get...
Did any of you ladies do this or are thinking of doing it?
I'm thinking 6x6x3 - that's a good size right?
I don't want my giant Uncle Tony taking home the whole display.

My friend had done this for her wedding during the VH, and I thought it was the best thing ever. She got pretty big boxes (don't recall what size), but def bigger than the 4x4 box above. I took a few pastries home, but definitely did not go overboard. Yeah you'll have the people that go nuts filling up the box, but then there are those who just take a few. Also, because it's usually a lot of pastries at the VH, even if they are small in size, height-wise they're usually big. So you want there to be room in the boxes for them.
Another thing to think of - those who want to go nuts and fill up for the week will just keep taking a bunch of the small boxes so they can load up. So you're probably better off just getting the bigger sized boxes. And there's always sooooo much food at the VH, so you really do not have to worry about running out at all. I say def go for the bigger boxes!

I looked for a pic of a 6x6x3 box to get an idea of the size and found this one below. It's like the size of the boxes that burgers come in from McD's or BK. I think it's actually a perfect size for the VH food.

No way, that is the coolest idea..I had no idea you could do that. Where are you getting the boxes from.I would love to do that for our wedding.

I love this idea! My cousin is getting me boxes from her bakery distributor ( I think they are 6x6x3) and I'm putting labels on them..
