They will not baptize the baby, so do they still have godparents?

Re: Question-Religion
Arghgh!!!! THE SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME IN A CLASS AT BROOKLYN COLLEGE!!!! I learned the SAME EXACT THING!!!!
I swear this is probably why jewish mothers are known for their devotion to their sons! It'll never change, it always comes off as it being the boy that matters to the religion and not the girl.

Re: Question-Religion
oh, I am not sure but I think a girl does not have a bris, only a boy- its when the circumcision is in your home by rabbi instead of the hospital so why would a girl have that

Re: Question-Religion
Talk about confusing....my best friend's father married a catholic woman and they had a daughter together. Soooo....my friend's sister was confirmed in the Catholic church so she could be her nephew's god mother, THEN a few months later, she had her bat-mitfah. I don't get it, but whatever floats their boat.
