If I'm mounting a plasma TV on my wall, what piece of furniature should I put under it? Everything seems like its supposed to have a tv on top of it... but I want it on the wall like a painting. Help. I can't find anything.

My cousins put a nice like...credenza(sp?) under theirs with picture frames and vases. Looks really nice.
We have a media center from Pottery Barn under our flat screen TV...I'll try to find a pic of it.

Maybe you can put like a desk or something similar - something you could put some picture frames and decorative things on top of? Obviously you can't put a couch or chair under the TV for viewing purposes LOL. Just a thought! Good luck!

What about some kind of a book case or entertainment type thing? And put some frames or decorative peices on top to not give it the 'a tv is supposed to go here' look
I'd love to show you what I mean, however, I am unable to do that since i cant get on any sites

I keep looking on sites, but I guess I'm getting thrown b/c they keep showing the tv ON the item... and I want it above it...

we have a fake fireplace we were considering putting the TV over - my question to you is - where are you putting your cable box/dvd player/video games and all that stuff? we ended up not hanging ours on the wall because of all the wires/boxes

that's what I would do - a fake fireplace.
Or anything your little heart desires. I like handpainted furniture so I would do a cute little handpainted credenza or something.

My FH and I are in the process of putting the TV on the wall as well and we're looking for the same exact thing! But I also wanted to share this thing we bought to hide the wires. We were going to break through the walls but I found this. It's only 22 bucks.
We have a long entertainment center with glass cabinets. It looks nice even thought theres no tv on it.
