How does your reception card looks then, are they printed already? If not, then print it on the reception card. Also, are you inviting some people to the church but not all to the reception? If no, and everyone is going to reception, then I don't see a problem with putting the black tie thng on the church invite, b/c essentially they are the same affair and I doubt that you'll have someone come casually to the churche and then dress up for the reception.

If eveyone is invited to the reception, then I see nothing wrong with puting the tag on the invite. It will probably look better and as I said in a message above, I highly doubt that someone will come to Church informal and then go and change to go to the reception. To me, that's too much work, which is why I think its reasonable to put it together with the church invite.

Thank you Alina..I have to think about it.. it looks/reads funny with it saying black tie preferred on the invite right after the church location..

Marcella, does the reception card have a separate envelope? If not, what about going back to reconsider the 'seal' thing? I think if its done right (Sonicstef is the pro at this stuff) it can look really nice, and won't imply black tie for church.

Hm, no clue on that one. We're getting married at the hall, so no reception cards for us. But if there is one, then you can use it as a seal or you can use the seal on the big outer envelope...

I do think it may be easier to reprint the reception cards than bothering with the stickers, b/c most likely, your saving's won't be huge...
