Hi girls,

I am in need of your help. I am in 6 weddings in16 months and I need shower ideas. I am the MOH in 2 of them and I am planning the bridal showers with the mothers of the brides and they both want something unique for their daughters. Does anyone have any unique games or themes to share?

I also have the first bridal shower coming up where I am a bridesmaid. I need an idea for a gift. The MOH and a cousin are doing the candle basket and the pajamas of the years gifts. Does anyone know of any other ideas like these. Any other suggestions would be welcomed also. The shower is already costing the Bridal Party $140 per girl and with all of these other weddings coming up, I would like to save money while giving a nice gift!

Well an idea similar to the candle basket is doing a lingerie clothesline. Every bm would be involved for this, theres a poem that goes along with it and bm's are given a color or design to get lingerie in. Its supposed to be for each day of the week of the HM. Cant remember the poem off hand by one day there was leopard print, another day white, a nother day black, also PJ's for last day and a pack of advil.

Theres also the wine basket with a poem. Each wine represents something different, the wine theyll have in their first house, for first anniversary, first fight and also like apple cider for when she is pregnant.

As far as themes, i always liked the idea of a moroccan type themed shower with those bright reds, purple, oranges, gold. Even hiring a belly dancer to teach the ladies some movies, would be something different.

Theres SATC theme, audrey hepburn theme, cooking theme, or doing a color scheme based on what she likes.

Theres also a bunch of games too if you are interested, or do they have all that covered

I definitely could use some games and possibly the cleaning items gift if anyone has it?

here are some games we did for my friends shower when i was a bm.

Well also i did this too and seen it a couple of times. You ask the groom to be a bunch of questions to answer about himself beforehand. Then at the shower you ask the bride to be these same questions to see how well she knows her FH. Each answer she gets wrong you stick a big piece of gum in her mouth.

Games we did for a friend:

The MOH and matron of honor did a booklet with a bunch of games. One was how well do you know the couple, the guests all had a booklet in front of them and answered the questions, those who answered the most right won a prize. Another game was the price is right. MOH bought a basket filled with baking items and other supermarket stuff, guests went over and had to guess the total price of everything in the basket, whoever got the closest won a prize. Another game was 'whats in your purse' there was a sheet filled with things that could be in your purse and if you had it you put a checkmark next to it and there was different amount of points for each item. The person with the most points got a prize

We also did toilet paper bride. Each table got a couple rolls of toilet paper, and we told them that they had to pick one person to be the bride and out of toilet paper make a dress for her, they wrapped it around her to make the dress. Then when they were done they did a fashion show and we had the bride pick which table she thought did best. Ive also seen it where EVERYBODY got a roll and made their own dress but this is less chaotic lol

Theres also bridal bingo but instead of that another thing they did at my shower and my friends shower was get a timer, and set it for every 10-15 mins and whenever the timer went off, whosever gift was being opened at the time won a prize

i dont have the poem for the cleaning items thing, i went to a shower that did that but im sure it can easily be found online.
