Re: Quick, Quick... I have a question
I found exactly what I wanted on ebay - 2 tier, fingertip, ribbon edge, scattered pearls with a comb for under $40 from veiledandbejeweled

Re: Quick, Quick... I have a question
I've searched everywhere, but I can't seem to find it. (Including ebay) Scallop edge (but starts at the top of my head... not straight then scalloped at the bottom) beading, but not too much and no embroidery... the problem is that the top of my dress is very detailed, so with the tiara and jewelry, I don't want to be too overdone.

AnnMarie, that sounds like an awful lot of money. From the girls on here, I'd say 50-100 is average. Yet if its what you really want, then maybe go for it, especially if you exhausted other venues (ebay, borrowing one, etc).

I say if you really really want it, then buy it. You're only going to wear a veil once and it should be the one you truly want. It's not that bad. Mine was $150. I mean I like it, but I didn't actually have a specific one that I wanted like you. But if I did, I would definitely go for it.

$120 fingertip,scalloped edge w/ beads & pearls (on the edge). I bought it @ Barrons--totally worth it!

Yay! Congrats!!!
I think the veil is one of the most important pieces of the wedding day 'look', so I'm so happy you found the one!

Hard to say. I really do not want to spend a fortune on it because I will most definitely won't wear it all night. I do HAVE to wear one for the ceremony to cover my face because of my faith (I'm Jewish) even though I don't want to. It will more than likely be a fingertip veil with an unfinished edge and no more than three layers with one of those layers to cover my face. The back of my dress is too sophisticated to cover up.

My dress has a ton of detailing on it too, so I got a very shear one... so exciting!!! This whole wedding is really starting to come together!!!
