quick registry question...

FH and I are registered at three places... I know my invites went out b/c people are buying stuff already!!!

I don;t know when my shower is and I would like to be surprised.... My question is should I put a wide variety of things on there.. my friend has hers and has put little things on there for her house and what not... scrub brushes etc.. what kind of variety did you have if any?? Is this important????

TIA!!!

ETA: not that I want to take things off and confuse people, I was just worried that I wasnt offering people enough of a variety.. got a complex after registry peeking for her and me!!

you should definitely put a variety of different priced things for everyone's budget.

I wouldn't put any limitations on a registry though. it's a wish list, so if you have your eye on that $250 vase, go for it the worst that can happen is that no one will buy it.

ETA: I didn't put any scrub brushes on mine. and something I have noticed on mine is that people prefer to buy decorative things rather than practical things.

I would put the practical things on if you need them - they are perfect gifts for wishing wells. Definitely put a variety of things on there...have fun - it's the only time in life we can pick out tons of gifts for ourselves. Worst case sceanrio, you don't get something.

You really need a price range variety.
