Quitting smoking

Are there any other ladies that have or are trying to quit smoking? I would appreciate any advice you could give me!

I don't smoke but..... my dad quite about 6 or 7 years ago using the patch. Never wanted a cigg again. GOOD LUCK!!!

My dad used SmokeAway and it really helped! And he has done the patch, been hypnotized, tried the gum, lollipops, got some kind of acupuncture in his ear, everything you can think of, he tried. This stuff actually worked!

I quit cold turkey a little over a year ago - I was a little edgy (to put it nicely) for about 5 days then I was ok. No smoking in bars or restaurants helps.

Good luck - it's one of the more difficult things I did for myself and in most ways I am glad I did. Every once in a while I could go for one, you know after a good meal and finishing that last drink after dinner but it goes away in a second.
