** QUOTD 3/11/14 **

Hi Ladies! Sorry I am late with this, I kept getting a weird error message last night when I was trying to post on here or view the boards.

Anyway, I am going to kick this week's QUOTD's off with CONTESTS! Any ladies entered into/WON contests lately? Wedding related or not?

I ask bc as many of you know, I entered into a contest on facebook to win a photo booth through Vanity Photo Booths and I won it!!!! (I had so much support from you girls so THANK YOU).

THEN - I went on facebook yesterday and saw that I WON a 3 hour limo package from Serenity!!!

I kind of feel like I am in the twilight zone because I never win ANYTHING and all of a sudden its a ton of wins (which I am NOT complaining!!) I also won a free officiant for my wedding on here a couple months back!!!

Have you won contests? Do you enter into a lot? Whats the coolest thing you have ever won?

wow congrats on winning all that stuff.. I keep meaning to enter the contests on here. I'm going to be more productive with that from now on.

I won 1/2 things although not wedding related

Forever ago I called into Z100 to name the 5 at 5 (I think that's what it was). I was the 100th caller and named all the songs. My co-worker and I won a few hundred dollars

But here's the reason I wrote 1/2 also forever ago, Daily News used to put out a scratch and match game. The cliff notes version is that I won $100,000 on it. Yup $100,000. I was 21 at the time and in my glory... Until that is the next day I woke up and found out that there was a misprint and I, along with hundreds others in the tri-state were winners. We had to send in our 'winning' ticket and they drew tickets randomly, needless to say they did not draw mine and sent me $50 to make up for my inconvenience.

So don't have the best luck with contests or the daily news

Anyway! Wow congrats on all the wins!!! How do u find out about the fb contests?? I only just entered the photo booth one on here. If I don't Erin I think I'm gonna go to the cresent beach club expo bc vanity will be there again I think giving one away! I need to find more contests!

I never win anything! All I remember winning ever is a Furby when they first came out! LOL! I need to look into some wedding contests to enter!

I can't remember ever winning anything.. How sad! Technically I 'won' a cruise at one of the bridal showcases. But you still have to pay the port taxes and fees and such. When I looked online, the price of the cruise through the cruise lines website was the same, if not LESS than the cruise I 'won'. So I don't count that as winning. Lol
