My Fh wants to move in with me, but I live at home with my family. It is just my mom, and 2 brothers. There is room in the house, but I am hoping that this change will bring a positive effect on planning the wedding. For instance, ie.....like having him come along to meet the vendors and stuff like that.
Where you girls comfortable with living together before the big day?

FH and I just moved in together in August. We were engaged the pervious September. We waited to move in together until we could purchase a home. I think for us it was important to have a place that we both picked out together. I enjoy having him here. We work completely opposite schedules and it allows us to at least see each other everyday.

Jt and I live together in my parents' house, and we feel totally comfortable. We also wouldn't have it anyother way than to live together, it's just natural to us at this point. And it helps with getting things done. Like, if I don't have time to do laundry, he'll do it, or if he needs something from the store, I can pick it up on my way home, or if we want to be together, but not have to go out, or if we want to go out and don't want to feel bad about leaving the other one at home. I don't know, it just makes sense from all angles at this point.

I moved in his place (our place now) after the engagement. Its easier to pay the bills that way. I love living with him YIPPIE

My FH and I live together in our own apartment. It's great!! It makes wedding planning easier and it made our relationship stronger. We lived together for 8 months before we got engaged. It is incredible!!

we are living together too - makes it easier to save for the wedding - 2 rents can really be draining it is a bit of an adjustment but it is well worth it

Thank you Ladies for the support. Sometime, this week he will be moving in. My mom knows but my brothers don't, but the house is big enough. But I know FH will be a little uncomfortable. I will be too, this is the first for me & the first for him. But , I am hoping we can just save up for the future Living with my mom. Eventually, to get a house. Even if it is sometime in the future. I know it will require alot of sacrifices.

We have been living together for over 4 years...well before we got engaged. It's been fabulous for us - I wouldn't have had it any other way.

We were friends for about 1 1/2 years before I moved in with her. A month and 1/2 later I asked her out. We have been living together for 5 1/2 years and don't regret it one bit. It's essential to live together to learn all the little things you each do when you are totally comfortable with each other. Bodily functions, walking around the house naked, etc. Her brother lives downstairs but it's a two family house with private entrances in front and back. It just weird when he introduced me to his friend as his sister's fiancee. A good weird though.
Best wishes for many years of happiness and success to everyone. I'd like to see more FH posting. Alot of people find it surprising that I made the acct. and actively participate.
