I am in need of a rabbi for my wedding in 2004, I would like a rabbi that has a sense of humor as well as a serious side to him, but not orthodox. Any responses would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

where are you getting married? I'm getting married at a conservative temple and we are using their rabbi. we haven't met him yet, but when i do i'll let you know if i recommend him. i don't really know of any other rabbis.

The best way to hear a rabbi is to go to their services on Friday night or Saturday morning. There are plenty of reform temples on LI and since your date is so far in advance, you have time to choose someone that you like with out rushing into the decision. If need some names of temples to go to, let me know. Good Luck.
