Rainbow Themed Bridal Party??

Hey...I'm new to the board and this is my first post!

My FI and I were discussing the color schemes for the BMs with my FMIL and she made a suggestion that we are now considering. She said that we can dress the BMs in like a rainbow color or pastels. The GMs could wear same color suit w/ a vest to match each of the BMs.

My FI and I think that this might look very nice and creative. What do you guys think about this idea? I'm having 4 BMs and MOH. Oh and it's a July wedding.

Please give me some feedback on this idea.

Honestly - I'm not so hot on the idea I think it may look as if they are just guests at your wedding and in MO its a little much...but thats JMO and you should do whatever makes you happy

i think it sounds like a great idea, especially for a summer wedding. you can really play around w/ flowers and every girl can wear a color that flatters them! here is a pic of girls in jovani dresses in different colors. FMIL and i were looking this weekend because she found a jovani dress that she loved and we came across this. we both thought it looked really good!

I immediately thought of my sister and her friends wedding's in the 70's! I think it's a great idea and the pictures will will be beautiful!

aww my mom did this... She had a rainbow of pastels... Next time I go over her house I'll post wedding pics w/ her bp.. My mom was married in 1977 so the style of the time shows
