When you go grocery shopping - do you help the clerk bag your groceries?
Also if you use a cart, do you return it to the designated area?

If there is no one there to help and I have alot I will do it, if I only have a few items, like 1 bag I usually don't just because I am getting my money out and the clerk will usually do it.

I always bag my own stuff, but sometimes I get really annoyed when the clerk goes SUPER slow so that he/she doesn't have to HELP me bag!!!

I always bag too. I get annoyed when people just stand there. I worked at King Kullen for many years when I was younger, I know how much we appreciated it when someone helped bag.
I worked at KK too for a long time. What store did you work in.

It depends on the mood and how much stuff I bought. For the most part I don't.
I almost always return the cart.. I hate it when a cart is blocking a parking spot..

there are usually baggers and ill help but they are pretty fast
as for the cart- i usualy leave it near my car unless someone is looking

I ALWAYS bag my own groceries. It gives me pleasure. I am serious. I worked at Edwards for a million years so I know how it is to be a cashier. However I only return my cart when I am at a supermarket that requires a quarter for the cart!

I ALWAYS bag my own and get annoyed when there is a bagger on my lane. I like things to be put in bags with related items. When others do the bagging, they put cleaners in with food. It just bothers me.
I ALWAYS return my cart.

FH usually bags I hand over our cash. My supermarkets designated area for the carts is retarted, they have one of those things in the middle of the parking lot, which is always empty then they have them all lined up on the sidewalk, which is a pain. Usually return it to the sidewalk, but don't push it in to line up with the rest of the carts.

If I'm alone.... I try to watch the scanner and check for prices and will bag help with the bagging after the total has come up. If DH is with me, he'll bag stuff.
If my son is with me and I'm not near the coral, then I usually don't return the cart.

Everywhere I shop they bag for me (which I love, because I have a tendency to squish the bread) and I ALWAYS return the cart. People leaving the cart where it doesn't belong is one of my biggest pet peeves.
