do you/will you open presents with just your hubby or w/ some family too? just curious.

Since most gifts are checks anyway, we opened them on our wedding night - alone.

we'll do it alone... i am always sooooooo anxious to open up things. i have a mothere who would definatrely start comparing stuff, she will not be told what we receive

FH and I will open them alone that night, but I will tell my parents who gave what. They like to know so they know what to give others at their parties.

I wanted to open them all that night - I LOVE presents, but DH was tired.... so we compromised I got to open 5 that night and the rest at 8 the next morning. It was good that we were leaving the following day for our HM so we could go to the bank with all the money. I think my mom wanted to open the gifts with us, but I wanted to do it alone.

We opened ours alone the next night actually. Then brought all the checks to my parents house for safe keeping while we were on our honeymoon!

We plan on doing it alone on our wedding night...but then passing off the checks, etc. to his mother who will bring them home for us as we won't be going home after wedding...we're leaving from hotel to go on our honeymoon.

we opened them alone, except for some gifts that were passed to us through MIL... those we opened in her house and everyone was there.

We opened our envelopes alone the day after our wedding over a bottle of champagne (we didn't leave for our HM until 2 days after the wedding). We opened our gifts two weeks later because they were at my inlaws and we didn't get them until then. We also opened them alone.
