Random question: Did anybody register for a vacuum?

we registered for a windtunnel and got it at my bridal shower! I didn't think we would get it but we did!

we registered for a vaccuum...but nothing crazy like a Dyson because i dont think anyone would buy it for us....

We wanted a really good one but I felt bad putting one so expensive on my registry and the one I wanted you can't get in the stores I registered so FH and I bought our own. It is an electrolux and it works great!

Yes - Dyson Animal - over $500. Mom said she would get it for me for the shower.

we didnt. we already have a vaccuum so there was no need. plus FH wanted to register for teh dyson one and I knew no one would buy it...

Register for this: The Eureka Boss Smart Vac Ultra 4870 (its about $150).
It got a Consumer reports Best Buy Award for a reasonably priced but powerful vacum.

We did! We registered for the Dyson (the regular yellow one)........ridiculously expensive. We just figured maybe people would go in on it together. But if not, we get 5% on every registery purchase and 10% on all of our purchases at Macys, so if we don't get it from somebody, that will probably be our purchase after the wedding.

I wanted the Dyson so bad but FH said we can't put that on our registry b/c it was too expensive so we went with another one.

We registered for an Electrolux $399 but we really want the one for $499. So the man at Fortunoffs told us tho put the cheaper one on the registry and return it to get the more expensive one and all we have to do is add $100. Pretty smart.

I love our vacuum.... it's the Electrolux Oxygen vacuum (the red one). I believe it is now almost 5 years old, and it works as well as the first day....
