OK - It is Friday and I'm a little bored at work. So it is time for the random, pretty useless survey of the day!

What infomercials have you been 'sucked in by'? Did you regret buying the product?

That reminds me, I ordered the Sonicare toothbrush & sent back like three of them because they wouldn't hold a charge until I realized the outlet I had it plugged into turned off when the light switch was off I gave them a really hard time about what a piece of cr@p it was too oops!

That is too funny

That electric shock Ab toner (remember that) that sends a pulse into your abdomen to tone you up - Actually burnt me and I had a mark on my stomach!

I cant believe you got a mark on your stomach!!??!?! Did you call the company and complain???

I sent it back. I thought for a while I had a permanent scar. I think it might have worked if it wasn't for the whole extreme pain thing. I thought it was just mine that had the defect, but I don't see any infomercials for that anymore!

'Germ Terminator' You put your tooth brush in it and it supposedly cleans your toothbrush and gets rid of germs and viruses. I used it for a while and found I got sore throats more often...go figure!

I do want to try that spinning round brush that straightens your hair though. ETA: Oh I see someone tried it and didn't like it. Saved some money there!

Does the Magic Bullet really work?
DH wants it soooo badly - and I was going to try to surprise him with it...but I'm nervous about spending money on something that won't work well.
They have them at Target for like $70.....
