OK - It is Friday and I'm a little bored at work. So it is time for the random, pretty useless survey of the day!
What infomercials have you been 'sucked in by'? Did you regret buying the product?

Me:
Ab-roller - LOVE!
Ab-doer - Awful - blah!
Tae-bo - Did for about 2 weeks
Winsor Pilates - maybe 3 weeks
ProActive - Awesome
That electric shock Ab toner (remember that) that sends a pulse into your abdomen to tone you up - Actually burnt me and I had a mark on my stomach!
Obviously I'm a sucker for Ab workouts - I have no motivation to do crunches

wow - that's amazing to me! I guess I am a sucker but I want EVERY product I see on infomercials - especially workout and kitchen stuff If I ordered everything I ever wanted I would have a house FULL - I tend to write down the numbers but never order :)

Re: Random Survey of the Day!
Hmmm ... Power 90 (which I actually like but never are motivated long enough to do for more than a week or two at a time)
Some elliptical thing MANY years ago that I had to put together myself It was quite a workout just getting it from the front door of my apt to the bedroom & putting it together.
I'm sure there have been other things but I can't think of anything else ...

Turbo Cooker, waste of money, but a great huge pan
Shark Vaccumm - Great. I love it. The best vaccumm EVER.
I'm now eyeing the Shark Steamer. I did try to call and order it but I got cut off. I'm still getting it!!!
DH says I take after my mom with these things. She falls for all this stuff. She actually bought the roller sticky brush set where you can dust your ceiling, floors, etc. with this tool and when she tried to test it on her ceiling, the paint and sheetrock started to come off !!! My brother had to sand down the ceiling and repaint it for her. We had suck a chuckle over it.

Re: Random Survey of the Day!
Does the Magic Bullet really work? DH wants it soooo badly - and I was going to try to surprise him with it...but I'm nervous about spending money on something that won't work well. They have them at Target for like $70..... or, on the website buy one get one free for $100....hmmmmmmm

well, FH only used it once so far (to make hummus) and it works! it comes with a pretty big recipe book too. FH asked me to remove the blender from our registry since this all in one magic bullet works very well

I'm sorry but the MAGIC BULLET sounds like something you get from a sextoy catalog! (Along with the Maxi-Glide in another post).

Wait the magic bullet.... is that the infomercial with the British guy and his pals all hanging around making daquiris and pesto sauce at 9 am?
I want one so bad!!!!!!!! But the 'chocolate mousse' grosses me out.
