Raphael Brides?!

Hi! I am now officially a Raphael's bride! Just wondering if anyone else is getting married there - I know there are a few of you on here that I've spoken to - I figured we could have an official thread to talk about our plans!

Re: Raphael Brides?!

I thought you were a Timber Point Bride. You FM'd me about TP quick a few times and I thought you were booked at TP. What happened?

Re: Raphael Brides?!

I actually was booked there and just recently changed to Raphael's. It wasn't anything AT ALL about Timber Point that made us change - they were incredible & wonderful to work with - I'd recommend them 1000X - it was just a personal decision. We had always loved Raphael's and ended up being able to swing it so we did it....

Good luck with everything

Did you lose your deposit?

Re: Raphael Brides?!

To my knowledge, the policy is that if they book the day, you get the deposit back. I'm sure with their great rep, they'll have no problem booking it over a year away.

Re: Raphael Brides?!

Yes - we picked up a bottle of there White. It was so sweet tasting, $20 a bottle but well worth it.
Raphael's actuallly it reminded me of old Italy, church like. I think it is an Italian Vineyard as well. Great choice girls! Fh and I both had said to ourselves that day, only if we weren't booked already, we would have def considered it for our reception site.

Re: Raphael Brides?!

The first moment I stepped in the foyer of
Raphael, i was like 'Uh-oh', then we went inside, i told Scott, 'IF I ever get married, this is THE Place'...well, we are now getting married there. Yes, it is like Italy (and we are not even italian! )---thanks, we feel good about it!

Re: Raphael Brides?!

Thanks DecBride!
We had the same feeling! We walked in and were just wow-ed. It makes me feel like I'm in Tuscany!
Have you tasted the food yet Sandra?
SandraLynn Posted:

Re: Raphael Brides?!

Yes, we went to a food tasting, and the food was great! There was a soup that was amazing!!!!

leeleelee Posted:

Re: Raphael Brides?!

Yeah I went to one yesterday and the food was awesome! We had pea soup and it was soooo good! Unfortunately soup doesn't really 'go' in June! ;) You should have it though!! It's nice too because it's something different!

Re: Raphael Brides?!

I'm considering Raphael, but I haven't visited yet. Is the reception inside? Do they have ceremony capability? Thanks!

Re: Raphael Brides?!

Hi! The cocktail room is inside but with views of the vineyard, plus there are a bunch of tables on the patio/deck outside of the glass doors - so you have a little bit of both. The dining room is in another room with windows (w/ views of the vineyard)...it's really beautiful - I'd definitely suggest visiting...
I'm not having my ceremony there, but they do have the capability for them - outside it's on the back lawn area, and inside I've seen them hold it on the staircase, very very beautiful.
Good luck!!

Re: Raphael Brides?!

I am having both the ceramony and reception at Raphael. The ceramony will be on the stairs and we are having a 6hr cocktail party, so we won't be using the formal dining room. There is a fire place and a cat walk, it is so different and the food is different and sooo wonderful!
