I had mine at Joe Abbraciamento's (sp?) on Woodhaven Blvd. The food was phenominal & would not stop coming!
No one could eat anymore yet they kept bringing food!

Belmont Steaks has great food, and they are not that expensive. Also St. James in Kew Gardens.

Theres also a TON of places in Bayside and the prices range from $- $$$ thers all te bars/ restauraunts on Bell or fancier places like Caffe on the green. Good Luck
Edited b/c I didnt read that you wanted Middle Village area but these arent that far either.

Caffe on the Green is in Douglaston (I think), very nice place.
What about the Roma View on Crossbay Blvd.? this a good place too!
Or Neidersteins on Metropolitan in MV or is it Glendale???
OH there is a pub/restaurant on Grand Ave. in Maspeth, pretty good, can't think of the name though.
HOWEVER, if I had to choose any mentioned on this thread, I would 100% go with Joe Abbracciamento's, family style, GREAT food!! And like Jenn said, LOTS of it!

Matchmaker's on Grand is Maspeth has great food, we just went to a party there. Or Cranbury's in MV on Grand is also good...

We had our wedding reception there! We LOVE it!!! It always has a special place in our hearts now!!!! Forum mail me any questions you have on COTG.
There are a few places....I have had everything forour family at Pat's on Grand Avenue. We had my bridal shower there. Prices are reasonable and the food is amazing.
There is also a few places in Forrest Hills...Portofino is also amazing
