I don't think this is tacky at all. The RD is supposed to be an intimate thing anyways.

Not at all! I might be doing this. It's still up in the air since the church is in Nassau and I live in Suffolk. But I like things at home they are cheaper (usually) and a lot more intimate and comfy

Sometimes I think the RD is just *another* excuse to shell out a ton of money, do CPs, favors, etc...like when's it gonna end?
We're doing our RD at either my parents or FBIL's, a big old backyard bash with all our friends and family. Its gonna be a blast!
