this one is a tough one for me. i guess it really depends on the person.

Re: Re-post
I personally could not forgive him if he cheated. I would always have that doubt and to live our lives like that would not be healthy. Some people can forgive and forget though.

I cheated once with a kiss many years ago and never looked back... so i think it depends on the degree of cheating and if they are genuinely sorry

This is a hard one Viic. It really depends on the situation. I guess if it were me I would have to know all the facts. If he was 'talking' to another girl I guess this wouldn't be as hard to fix but if he was physical with someone else I would have to move along. I could not recover from that, it's just to hard to regain the trust.

I think you are right with that. I dont think a kiss is really cheating.... but then again, some people arent stopping at a kiss...
but ur right with the degree thing

Tori, I am so sorry you are going through this. I have a friend who found out her husband was cheating on her right around and after the time of their wedding. she stayed with him but their relationship is still rocky and she still struggles with trust issues. I thikn you have to do some soul searching after speakign with FH more and decide if you could get over something like this.

i feel like b/c you dont have the full story, and he seems to be hiding something you cant make an accurate decision......all i can say is that i would not go through with a wedding under these cirumstances......you said in your post you would go through with it and then probobly end up divorcing.....i dont mean to be harsh my heart goes out to you but are you crazy! thats a terrible idea, how could you put yourself through that? b/c we dont truly know each other i feel like the honesty doesnt sound so bad but your setting yourself up for failure, the 2 of you need to get to the bottom of this situation and really determine exactly what he has or hasnt done, and whether or not you can forgive him.......i think you know in your heart if he is someone who is going to be good, and true to you.....i hope you find your answer, that things work out the best for YOU.

i could personally never ever deal with it. Once a cheater always a cheater to me. I feel like.. the first time you cheat should be the hardest right? So, if u got through that one time...
the next time will be easier

Re: Re-post
I guess it depends on what you define cheating to be. Having sex with someone else is, in my opinion, absolutely unforgivable and unforgettable. Flirting with someone else, though it could have led to something else, would merit a second chance, at least for me.

Totally, if in fact, this is true, you have to think about whether you could ever trust him again. Without trust, a relationship cannot survive. You will always doubt him in the back of your mind and that's no way to live. This situation s*cks!

Personally, none of us can judge becuase we're only hearing one side of the story... everyone is diff... i think to say you def wouldnt be able to take a 'cheater' back, however the cheating may be, you only know how you will react once you're IN the situation....
