What are you getting your readers? I have 2 guys and 1 girl. I think the guys are easy (cuff links, money clip, etc.) but have NO idea what to get my female reader. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Ummm...NOT in the budget.
I've never actually been given a present when I was a reader in the past. I just wanted to give a little something to make them feel acknowledged.

Re: Reader Gifts
Would a gift card for the girls be too generic? Like an amex one or one to a store they like?
I think I might do this

Re: Reader Gifts
I got a really personal gift when I was a reader for a close friend. They gave me a small teddy bear that related to an inside joke and a gift card (I think $25) to the Disney Store since I am a Disney fanatic.
How about a Barnes and Noble gift card since they're your 'reader'..or a silver gift item from exclusively weddings or things remembered. They have nice inexpensive gifts - bookmarks, compacts, picture frames, etc

Re: Reader Gifts
The Things Remembered idea is great! Or if you are looking for something inexpensive maybe a nice bottle of wine and a heartfelt card?

I like the bookmark idea! Very cute and thoughtful!

Re: Reader Gifts
I got DH's aunt a mug, a set of teas and a box of chocolates
And my aunt and uncle we bought a bottle of wine, 2 wine glasses and a box of chocolates.
Most of the stuff was from the christmas tree shoppe.

Re: Reader Gifts
we're going to give them a corsage, and were thinking either a gift card or maybe like a vera bradley makeup bag or little clutch or something in the $20 range.

This is PERFECT! Already doing the corsage thing, but the Vera Bradley bag is exactly what I had in mind. Thanks!

Re: Reader Gifts
VB was actually the runner up idea for our female reader. We went with a gorgeous set of Woodstock wind chimes instead.

Maybe a nice bottle of wine if she's a wine drinker?

Re: Reader Gifts
I know you said spa treatment is out of the budget, but what about a gift certificate for a mani/pedi from her local nail salon. That usually runs around $20.

Re: Reader Gifts
I really think the idea of gifts for readers is borderline ridiculous. Aren't they supposed to be very close friends or family that are honored to be part of your day? With that said I am getting them a corsage and maybe a bottle of wine-nothing major.

While neither of my sisters did gifts for their readers and that was fine, our readers traveled here an extra day early to attend our Thursday rehearsal, so it was nice to give them something to show our appreciation that they extended their trip.

Do readers normally attend the Rehearsal and rehearsal dinner?
