I'm doing a reading at a wedding 2moro and I'm kinda nervous...I'm doing the first reading...how am I supposed to know when to walk up to the altar? How am I supposed to know where the reading is in the Bible?

The couple didn't give you a printed copy of the reading? I'd carry that up with me. And you'll know! Did you have the rehearsal yet? The priest gave our readers their cues at rehearsal and then also gave them a little nod to let them know to come up. DH's aunt came up the wrong way and nearly knocked over a candle. Haha!

No rehearsal? If its at a church they usually have a coordinator who will alert you.
I've done 2 readings at weddings and both times they printed out the specific reading for me.
