So, one of my BM's is having her wedding on Friday - this Friday... The limo company just called her NOW to tell her that the Rolls Royce that she has been dreaming about is in the TRANSMISSION SHOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SHE'S FREAKING THE F**K OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why do they bother the bride with things like this? The company should go and find another one to rent for her wedding and leave her alone. Like she really needs to freak out about that right now. Isn't that why we all have contracts?? So frustrating

Ready.... here's the best part of the whole thing!
She has a choice of either the Excalibur or the Stretch Mercedes (like a 14-16 passenger) both of which they HATE!!!!!!!!!

Is it in the contract which one they would get? If so, and they don't deliver-they can take their money elsewhere (unless there is a clause stating that a replacement can be made).

poor thing - i know things happen but shouldn't the place have some type of emergency plan or something to get a different company's car for them or soemthing?

The same this happened to DAWNIE. On the way to our house, the car died on the day of her wedding. They had to give her a different limo! (And they arrived timely, we were the ones runnung late!) Just be grateful that they had to fix it before it died while you were in it!

found out last night... they aren't affiliated with anyone, so she isn't going to be able to get a different Rolls.... either the Excalibur or the stretch Benz - which neither one of them can stand!

thats ridiculous! What does her contract say? They are not fulfilling their obligation - do they have a clause allowing car substitutions? Its not even close to a fair trade.
I'd book somewhere else and then sue if they don't give the deposit back.
