Really Awful/Funny and Possibly TMI

So right now I'm 'broken', as me and FH like to tactfully call it. The past few months it's been like 2 or 3 days early each time...so each month that passes, as I count ahead, the odds of being 'broken' on 12/5 are becoming more and more likely.

So I mentioned this to my mother yesterday. She asked me what my something old/new/borrowed/blue was, and for old I said it will probably end up being my period panties. So she started flipping out that I can't wear them. So I was like, well, I may not have a choice.

To which she 110% seriously responded, 'If you have it, I'm getting you a some Depends, and you're wearing them'

Completely serious. Now, does anyone remember the old SNL commercial skit, Ooops I crepped my pants? So now this is all I can think of, and my mom thinks its perfectly acceptable for me to walk down the aisle wearing a diaper.

I guess you can say things are starting to get back to normal around here.

Have you thought about going on Birth control? You would be able to control when you would get your period.

Yea, have you thought of getting on birth control? A couple of weeks ago, I messed with my pills so that when the wedding comes, I wont have my period and I wont have my period during the honeymoon.

omg i think i just crapped my pants...love how u use broken,then period panties,then depends...

ok now in response...im assuming u r not on the pill,but maybe talk to the gyno if u think u will have flo...dont break out the period panties..stop the crimson wave for the wedding

Not to get all downtrodden on a very light post, but me and FH are very against the idea of BC for many different personal reasons, so while I appreciate the suggestions because I know you all are just trying to help, it's not the right option for us. Thanks for the concern though

There isn't much more I can say but

well im not positive but isnt there something the gyno can give u..other than the pill to stop flo?im not sure im not on the bc for my own medical reasons(cant cause of heart thing) but maybe gyno can help?

and i just have to ask..r u really going to wear depends?u would go tampon or pad right?

Totally pad...I don't know what my mother is thinking. You really can't even make this stuff up. She thinks I'm going to be a, ummm, bloody mess, if I don't have a diaper on.

And I don't know...as much as it would s/uck, whats 5 more days after 5 years, and I wouldn't want to mess with my body with any type of magic pill...it just horrifies me what some medicines are capable of

I am in the same boat...I don't plan to take BC pills. Ihave been so irregular lately..I will prob have it on my wedding. But I am not going to go on BC, so I guess we will have to hope and pray, right?!

I'm having the same issue... I was on the pill for a few months but stopped taking it bc it made me feel sick and I got FAT... and with my awesome timing I'm about 99% sure I'll be broken too on our wedding day.
