Really FRUSTRATED!!!

Really FRUSTRATED!!!

I can't seem to get any of my BM's together to look at dresses. I've tried planning a day to go look for the last month or so and everytime they have something to do. I was only going to go with the 2 girls who live near me (there are 5 in total) then send a pic to the others to make sure they agree but I can't get them together. One BM just texted me that she doesn't have a free evening until after thanksgiving!!!! This has by far been the most stressful part of the wedding planning.

I couldnt get my grls together either. At first it frustrated me but then I just went, tried on some dresses and picked the one I wanted. I emailed them and told them the dress..i said if they couldnt go to get measured at the store to just send me their measurements and i took care of it! Do what works for you!

I had the same problem. What I did was give people two dates and see which worked out best for everyone. Good luck!

I tried that....nothing works. I have one coming with me for sure as of now.

Maybe you should do this.

What I did since I have 6 girls in my BP. I had my sister (MOH) come with me and try dresses. She picked out the one she like best and then we picked out another dress for the bm's to wear. From there I had the dress picked out and all the girls had to do is come down and get measured and try dress if they wanted to.

I am only having my moh go dress shopping with me and we are picking the dress and then telling all the girls designer, fabric and color

Im in the same boat ... I havent been able to get them all together and look for dresses. I was supposed to go today with my MOH and it got cancelled... I was supposed to go last sat with my other BM and she cancelled. I might just go ahead and pick any dress and just tell them all to go buy it

Im sorry! It is very frustrating.. I feel your pain! I cant get mine together either.. I just gave up on it.. My sister (moh) is always willing to go with me so we have gone a few times together. I dont even ask the others anymore.

Just pick the dress you like, have them order it and thats it. they dont have a say in it if they dont come. Thats my opinion

I can relate because my sister is taking forever to get the girls together.. There are only 4 and 1 junior bm. I live in ATL now so its beyond difficult to get things moving from here!!! You've just reminded me of how mad I get when I think about this whole situation..

I HATE waiting on people..

I had the SAME problem so I made 3 appointments Thurs, Fri, and Sat I called all the girls told them the 3 days and times and told them to pick one then majority ruled and I had the final say on the dress!

It's YOUR wedding so you have final say. YOU pick a date that's convenient for you. Whoever can go gets an opinion. Everyone else has to just order whatever you pick.

Would you consider letting them pick their own dresses? My BM's live on opposite sides of the country, so I told them to go to the Bill Levkoff website, and pick a dress in black satin that you love. It just has to be the same brand, the same color, and the same fabric. Both found dresses they LOVED, but of course they both liked taffeta ones. I don't care at all- as long as they're the same fabric, and those girls are happy in what they're wearing, I am thrilled. And because they have ALL dresses on the web, and you can look at every dress in every color, I was able to put in my final say-so.

This could even work if you want them to wear the same dresses. Just tell them to go to a few designer's sites. Then tell each of them to let you know their top 5 dresses from each designer. See if any match, and that's your dress! No one has to leave the house, and no excuses. Hope this helps!

I just went with my MOH to pick and then had the other girls go get measured when they had time. What can you do? I didn't want to inconvenience anyone and frankly I wasn't up for playing coordinator. LOL

I only went BM dress shopping with my MOH. we picked 3 dresses and then the BM could pick one of the 3 to wear.....I knew I didnt want all the same dress so it was very easy. No one ever let me pick the BM dresses I had to wear. IMO if you leave it til you can get them all together and then to all agree on one dress it will never happen.......I say take it into your own hands and just go pick without them.

I think you should just go with who ever is available and pick out maybe a top 3 or 4 dresses. then when everyone can make it go back with them all and narrow the choices down. i don't think the first time you go you will decide anyway...it never happens like that!

It is hard to get all the girls together! And you would think they could clear a few hours to do something as special as look for their BM dresses! I went shopping first with MOH, made some preliminary decisions, shared them with the rest of the girls and they went on their own time to choose and order the dress.

i just went with three girls ... they all loved the dress i liked ... thats the one i picked! if the other ones have a problem with it ... TOO BAD! you can only hold off and wait for so long! sooo dont feel bad. go and pick out the one that two or three girls like and of course you need to love it too!
