While I was in Miami this week, I interviewed at University of Miami/Jackson Memorial hospital for a fellowship (contiuation of residency but only one year) in Spinal cord Injury and I was offered the spot or 2008 (I finish my residency at Jefferson in 2008) There are only two spots offered per year so its a pretty big deal, considering the number of residents applying. Plus it works out perfectly for FH and I since we now know where we will be living once I am done at Jefferson. I am so happy, it feels so surreal!!!
OMG!! That's wonderful news!!! Every year they have about 20-30 residents and interns apply to our department and I always feel bad bc there are only 2-4 spots. It's a very big deal!
