Re: really great salon recommendations--preferably near massapequa
I used Alure in Amityville on Merrick Rd. Janet did my updo for my wedding and I was very happy. I have had blow outs there as well with Diane and she always did an excellent job.Majestic on Merrick Rd. in Seaford also did a good job with my blow-outs (I used Cari.) I had booked her to do my hair on my wedding day, but she canceled 3 months before.
I have also used Who Does Your Hair in Bellmore (also on Merrick Rd.) and was always happy there too.

I go to Self Image in Amityville. My stylist is AnnMarie. She is actually out on maternity right now but is coming back on July 8th. While she's been out I've gone to Liz and she was great! My mom goes to Lumara Salon & Day Spa in Massapequa. It's right on Broadway.

I agree with Self Image-- Michelle is my stylist and she is awesome! However, she is in such high demand that it is hard to get an appt. with her...

I use Salon 1041 on Park Blvd. in Massapequa Park...I actually have a hair trial for an up do this Saturday. I'll post pics afterward and I'll tell you how much they were.

Cactus Salon is on Merrick Rd. in Massapequa- I haven't gotten an up do there- but I always get my highlights done, and they are reasonably priced and very nice to work with.Majestic Salon is also on Merrick Rd in Seaford, very close to Massapequa, and they are absolutely amazing! They are a little pricy, but June is the best !
