I went once when I had a light . doc said to come in anyway- it was fine, although uncomfortable
2nd time (i have poor scheduling) i needed to go back for the pap cause it wasnt good ...
i guess it depends on the heaviness

I personally would reschedule because I would be uncomfortable, but I KNOW my doctor allows you to come in with your period. Its up to you.

Well I once went to the gyno because I was in alot of pain...I went like 2 days prior to my period and I was apoligizing all over the place...And she was like..why are you sorry?? I have had people come and bleed all over the place (I guess its not a big deal when people go with their periods)
