I totally understand. I wish my grandmothers were still here to come to my wedding. I know it's different, but I understand.

Just remember how blessed you are to still have her in your life. All of my grands have passed and I miss them dearly.
You will have a beautiful wedding and I am sure she will be thinking of you.
I think you should get her a parent album - that way she can share your memories. Maybe even a DVD copy if you are doing video.

If you brother has buddy passes could you possibly get someone other than your aunt and uncle to fly down to her and bring her back? If someone has the time and she is healthy enough to fly this might be the way to go.

The same thing happened with my DH's grandma. Honestly, when you are old it's not easy to fly. Even when you are in good health, it's just not comfortable anymore. At 92, I'm sure your grandma was just being realistic.

Awwww I feel for ya girl.... I'm in the same jam.... My granny is 91 and lives about 3 hrs from us and I'm not sure she will be able to come. She really wants to but we will have to see..... If not we are thinking of going up there in the summer and maybe doing a civil ceremony so that she can be apart of it. And of course she will get her own DVD and Album regardless 'cause there will be a lot happening and I know she will want to soak it all in after ...just like me!
Maybe you can do something like that or I just had another idea.... what if you and your hubby take a trip out after the wedding and bring the dvd to her and watch it with her

my fh's grandpa lives in florida and is not flying up for the wedding. I don't think you should feel bad...travelking at that age is soooooo hard...she would be so tired...if she could come for your wedding, i am sure she would...
